Order Deadlines & Delayed Shipments

We ship orders on either Monday or Tuesday. Orders received by Friday at noon are shipped the following week. However, occasionally it may take an extra week for your order to ship if we experience a particularly large number of orders. We will alert you if this is the case (and issue a refund if requested), but we suggest ordering as early in the previous week as possible. Our chocolate cups may soften during transit. However, they do not spoil and will firm up in the refrigerator. We aim to preserve their aesthetic quality by shipping product frozen, and insulated with biodegradable liners and biodegradable cold packs. Our pricing includes handling time, premium earth-friendly packing materials, and freight charges via FedEx Ground (within their 2-day territory from 98501) or USPS Priority (2-3 days). Between May and October, we will alert you if your address will take more than two days, as the cups’ filling may arrive runny and smudged in this case.

Returns

At Cobb’s, we promise to package your order with detail and care. Due to the nature of our products we cannot accept returns. We do, however, offer a full refund for unacceptable orders (visual proof of product opened and discarded required) that arrive later than the expected shipping window. We appreciate your support and stand in good faith behind our products.

Shipping Addresses

Please be sure to double-check your shipping address when you create your account to make sure it is correct. Cobb’s is not responsible if we are provided with an incorrect shipping address. If your shipment has to be re-routed by the courier for delivery, there will be a charge of $25 to your account for each shipment that is re-routed. Cobb’s is not responsible if the wrong delivery address is given and the package is delivered to the wrong and/or unknown recipient. We use the best and most secure of freight carriers; however, we cannot be held responsible if the carrier delivers to the wrong address. We will always do our best to rectify any problem that should ever arise as we want you to be happy.

Cancelled Orders

If you place an order and then cancel it before we have processed it, Cobb’s will simply delete or revise your order as requested. If you cancel an order after it has been processed but before it has left our warehouse, you will be charged a restocking fee of 30% to cover associated shipping and handling costs. Again, we do not accept returns once they have left our warehouse.  

Invoice, Tracking, Email Notifications

Upon completing your order you will receive an email notification that we are processing the order. When your order is shipped, you will receive another email confirmation with tracking information. Once your order has been delivered another email notification will be sent to you confirming your package has reached its destination. After delivery confirmation email notification, if for any reason you believe your package has not reached your designated shipping destination, you must notify us within 24 hours of that delivery confirmation. We can not issue refunds or replacements outside of this time frame. All other situations are reviewed on a case by case basis.
